The church has a rectangular nave with four bays, a main chapel, a sacristy, and a very slender bell gable at the top (the crowning section of the former structure collapsed in the late 20th century after being struck by lightning). It was most likely built during the 17th century and underwent major renovations at the end of the 19th century, when several of the lunette vaults that had collapsed were rebuilt. Noteworthy is the altarpiece of the Nativity, with its gilded Solomonic columns.
